Village Media, a Community Impact Organization, is looking for a community support specialist to join us in supporting our Halton Hills and Milton communities.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic self-starter who is passionate about helping to connect businesses with our large local audience.

What you will do:

• Lead generation and outreach- calling local businesses, using a variety of tools, to set up appointments

• Community building, growing a network of local contacts 

• Shadowing existing sales reps to gain insight into the sales process

• Working directly with and supporting the sales team in reviewing, monitoring, and fulfilling advertising campaigns

• Assisting with the administration and coordination of campaigns

• Working with graphic designers to ensure ad creation process runs smoothly and ads are loaded and delivered on-schedule

• Completing various office administration responsibilities

• Connecting with clients for onboarding support

• Handling multiple priorities simultaneously

• Performing other duties and projects as directed 

Minimum qualifications for the position include:

• The ability to work alone, and as part of a team

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficiency with Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and other Google applications

Village Media, a Community Impact Organization, is looking for an experienced sales professional to join us as a Community Partner Specialist supporting our Halton Hills and Milton communities.

The ideal candidate will be a highly-organized, outgoing, enthusiastic self-starter who is passionate about their community and  sales-driven to connect businesses with our large local audiences.

You are entrusted to develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with local businesses, agencies or individuals and work with them to reach their target audience through various advertising channels and services.

What you will do:

• Develop and manage revenue-producing relationships with clients and agencies

• Prospect for new business using sales funnel techniques

• Analyze client marketing goals and develop needs-based solutions to achieve them

• Manage and take responsibility for the schedule of deliverables and campaigns of each client, being primary point of contact and managing all customer care and service

• Oversee campaign execution and analysis

• Work collaboratively with internal partners to drive revenue

• Use web analytics tools to understand sales opportunities and statistics required for sales presentations

• Work cohesively with other Village Media staff both locally based and across the network

Minimum qualifications for the position include:

• A proven track record of sales success 

• The ability to work alone, and as part of a team

• Strong presentation skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The successful candidate must live in Halton Region.

This position frequently requires the successful candidate to meet and engage with clients at their place of business. Generally, hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm but there is sometimes a need to work in the evenings and on weekends, to attend events.
